About Me

My name is Heather. I am originally from New England (Portland, Maine & Portsmouth, New Hampshire). I am dancer and creator. Currently, I am in training to become a dance/movement therapist at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

I love traveling with all my heart and soul. I also love the study of Classics (the study of the literature, history, philosophy, languages and archaeology of the ancient Greek and Roman world). This is why I've chosen to title this blog: The Odysseys of Heather, in reference to Homer's epic poem 'The Odyssey'. 

 

I crave epic adventures and spontaneous unexpected trips into nature. To share my journeys in this way is completely new and gives me a huge sense of joy. I plan to use this blog as a way to outline my adventures in the world. I also hope to share my own experiences as a way to help or inspire you for your own quests and adventures.
